Types of allergic reactions
An attack of allergies has been known time and again to kill a victim very rapidly and suddenly, giving him no time to react to it. Allergens in the environment cause uncomfortable symptoms in a person which in turn result in an allergic reaction.
Symptoms like skin rashes, hives, and itching, sneezing, or watery eyes are allergic reactions that can occur within seconds of exposure to pets or bee stings, dust particles, strange vegetation and rare foods. The loss of consciousness, development of strange respiratory and bodily pains, swellings nausea and seizures are more moderate to severe allergic reactions.

Shock and eventual death resulting from anaphylaxis can occur in a sufferer when within fifteen minutes after a violent reaction if he does’t get therapeutic assistance. Reaction time to exposure can vary from seconds to hours, and sometimes, even days.
The severity of an allergic reaction may be as a result of repeated exposure to an allergen, each time needing fewer amounts to cause a reaction. Environmental and pet allergies requires treatment like antihistamines and decongestants, or in some cases, immunotherapy and asthma treatment, to suppress symptoms.
It goes without saying that someone prone to allergic reactions must avoid peanuts, poison ivy, shellfish, and bee stings due to the fact that they often cause more severe reactions. To safe guard against accidental exposures, adults and children who have had severe experiences in the past must not do without carrying an Epi-Pen.
Comprising a syringe that contains epinephrine, emergency administration can be done by the Epi-Pen. A needle guard is removed and the substance is injected into the thigh or any large muscle. The needle can go right through you clothes so you don’t have to take them off to apply the Epi-Pen.
The person suffering an allergic reaction should be kept under close surveillance. Immediately you notice that the victim starts worsening or does not improve after five minutes of applying the Epi-Pen, look for more professional help.

| The first thing I want to say is that I should HAVE GONE TO THE DOCTOR, but I am old school and decided [mainly because of cost] to try to fix myself. I had something wrong with my throat which caused me to have a serious breathing problem. It was some kind of an infection which went to my lungs and caused asthma like symptoms. I looked up my symptoms and they matched allergy asthma. I ran across this product while looking for a non prescription medicine. I decided to try it and it worked well for me. I am in no way suggesting that someone with full blown asthma rely souly on this product. You must understand that I should have gone to the doctor and that I have never had asthma, I just had asthma like symptoms and took my health into my own hands. I suggest anyone having as much difficulty breathing as I did should immediatly go to the doctor. I was just lucky. Now, having said all that, I did use this product and it helped me alot. It helped me good enough for me to give it a five star rating. |
