Isopure Zero

Most protein powders are marketed for those who regularly work out in a gym and want to gain additional muscle or need a boost of energy. But there is another market for protein powders and that is as a dietary supplement, which is used most often by people who have undergone bariatric surgery. The reason is simple. Since their stomachs can no longer hold a large amount of food, they need to be able to get concentrated protein to help them stay healthy. Nature’s Best Zero Carb Isopure is a very popular choice.

A lot of protein powder supplements contain whey as the primary ingredient. The reason is because it is so rich in protein and vitamins. But many people do not want to use these supplements because they are lactose intolerant. But with Nature’s Best Zero Carb Isopure there is no need to worry. Even though it does contain whey it is 100% lactose free because the whey protein has been isolated.

Here is where it can get confusing though. The description for Isopure is that it has zero carbs. It says so on the bottle. But the reality is that for each serving size there are 4 grams of carbohydrates. Product labels that are misleading can really lead to a disappointed consumer. If a bottle says that it has zero carbs, then it should contain none. But that is where those tricky percentages come into play. The Food and Drug Administration allows up to a certain percent and still allows the manufacturer to label it as having none.

Great Item at a Great Price

Review Date: September 6, 2008
Reviewer: Wonderful, New Orleans
The item was great as was the price but even more spectacular was the shipping - we receivefd it in record time. I will definitely reorder from this seller.

All in all though, the reviews for this protein powder are pretty good. Most people love the vanilla and the chocolate flavor. They also love the fact that it mixes easily and can even be added into baked goods. Those who did not like it often cited the artificial sweeteners as the drawback.

If it comes down to cost per container, then many people may be dismayed over Nature’s Best Zero Carb Isopure because the suggested manufacturer’s retail price is a whopping $70.00 for a 3 pound supply. But if you shop around and visit sites like www.amazon.com you can find it for $49.99, which is a really great deal. It is still a bit more expensive than other protein powder supplements but the benefits are well worth the cost.
