Diabetes Diet – Vegetarian Diet
The day you get diagnosed for diabetes, you lose your right to eat merely anything. From that day on, you are tied to watching what you eat and buy at the grocers. Pay attention to what the doctor and the nutritionist point you, way for your life could depend on it.
Some foods you eat a good deal more of, and others you simply don’t touch once you have been diagnosed with diabetes. The doctor will take the time to guide you through them simultaneously as you are given your prescription medication. Do not forget them.
With diabetes you are saying adios to all those sweet niceties you were so used to; they were what got you into this kind of trouble in the first place anyway. Now you are saying hello to the vegetarian diet that is also loaded with proteins. So good for you.
A diabetes diet is mostly bye-bye to high-calorie and low-protein foods, and welcome to the opposite. You may have thought it was that bad, but really it isn’t. You can love it also.
Your feeding as a diabetic does not have to be short on flavor, it just has to be a lot smart. You can work with the doctors list, or you can be creative on your own. All you need to think of is that you have to watch the calories and the sugar, and you have to step up on the proteins and vitamins.

Great and Good for You

This product was recommended to me by a physician - it was presented as a tasty and heathful way to lower cholesterol and weight - sooooooo nothing ventured....
I have been very pleased with Salba - I most frequently add it to yogurt and it provides a pleasant crunch not unlike the granola that I used to mix in -
It has a mild flavor and can be added to any foodstuff without altering the taste- It can be used in baking and/or cooking but it does then lose the crunch factor.
I plan to make it a regular part of my diet. |
Lowers Triglycerides
|
| Review Date: September 9, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Ed Ronczkowski, |
| After reading something about this product possibly lowering Triglycerides, I wanted to see if it would work for me. Historically my Triglyceride levels were around 300. I was only on this for 3 weeks (2 TBS a day mixed in my yogurt) when I went for my blood work. The results shown they had been lowered to 205! And that's only after 3 weeks on Salba seed with no change in diet. I can't wait to see my next results after a couple more months. Also, my joints ache less and the extra fiber is working--not to mention the Omega 3 benefits. I've always had a high energy level so I can't comment on that aspect. All in all a great product. |
Excellent for the digestive system

| Salba Seed is excellent for the digestive system and it's all natural! I like to grind it up in my coffee bean grounder and then put it on peanut butter toast, on my salads or added to yogart. |

Increase in vitality, energy, stamina etc. were promised but to date, after taking the product for a month as directed, I haven't seen any change in my general health or fitness. Either "Salba Super Grain" is a total hoax or I'm just so healthy that I couldn't get any better!
I would not recommend the product to anyone except maybe Cheyney and his silly sidekick. |
